Rumblefish Adventure (a.k.a ScubaTuna.com) founded in Kata Beach by Thien X. Do, PADI Course Director, in 2003. Under his management and direction, Rumblefish Adventure achieved its PADI Five Star IDC status in August 2010. Ever since the center opened, the RfA team continues to lead the way in offering quality and personal service with high standard of safety, and maintaining a 80% rating on returning customers and referrals.

The Dive Center

Rumblefish Adventure is in a cozy 3 story building, designed to meet all of your travel and diving needs. Our 'fish bowl' air-conditioned classroom with dedicated extensive PADI library, projector and laptop available for candidates study and class preparation. A dedicated equipment washing/drying/storage area, shower area, outdoor and indoor lounge areas open to all diving guests before and after a fun day of diving. Our self-service refrigerators, mini bar and coffee making facility are available 24/7 for our guests convenience. And, Rumblefish Adventure is the only dive center in Thailand to have a full equipment retail store to provide our Pro candidates with diving and snorkeling equipment at wholesale prices (select from: Beuchat, Aunoc, Apek, Suunto, BARE Sports and all other major brands such as Scuba Pro and Aqualung). Kata Reef and purpose built diving pool, your primary training sites, are only 3 minutes away from the dive center. Chalong Pier, where all day trip dive boats departing from, is less than 10 min ride with our transfer. There're are plenty of restaurants, accommodations, stores (and even clinics & dentists) all in walking distance from Rumblefish Adventure.

IDC Facility

The confined water session takes place at a large purposely built training pool overlooking Kata, only a couple of minutes ride from the center and your accommodation. The 21m x 19m pool has 3 levels of depth and is dedicated for scuba diving training.

For the open water session, we use Kata Beach Reef just 3 minutes from your IDC accommodation.

The 'fish bowl' air-con IDC classroom is equipped with all up to date materials from PADI, most up-dated audio-visual learning tools, free wireless internet access and fresh coffee maker.

There are plenty of accommodations at various rates in Phuket. Pick your own accommodation or stay with us at our very popular diver's inn, inclusive in all of our IDC packages.

Your Shared accommodation during the IDC is conveniently located inside the Beach Center, in central Kata Beach, where plenty of restaurants, stores, pharmacy, medical center, cafes, night market and everything you need are all in walking distance. The beautiful Kata Beach is just 5 minutes stroll from our dive center and Divers' Inn, a perfect place for reading, swimming, or watch one of the most awesome sunset in the world. Your shared room is equipped with attached bathroom, individual fans, lockers. Private AC rooms (single, twin, double) are available for upgrade.
